COURSEWIDE - Deadlines
There are so many deadlines eh? Normal I guess! :)
I have a deadline today for the Personal Research Project module but with only one example of a title/topic on the VLP, I am struggling to come up with ideas. I did have one, but Julius said he wouldn't be happy with the project as an idea, so I've had to e-mail Deborah and himself asking for the possibility of having a few examples. If they can't give me one or two for any reason, I think I'll be given one which I am very itchy about as it could be something I know nothing about or have no interest in. Matt has chosen an excellent topic for his, very interesting and he'll do really well. I do have a second idea, but I don't know if I can continue with it as I can't pin down an exact title/topic out of it. I basically want to research the whole HD-DVD/Blu-ray thing that is going on at the moment, but I don't know what to research about it exactly as I don't know exactly what Jools/Deb are looking for. I'll ask later when I receive an e-mail back regarding the stuff at the beginning of the post :)
I also have a deadline for the Client Project for Monday. I have an idea for that too, but I would prefer to use that for my final project, even if I can use it. Again, I guess I'll have to ask the guys if the idea is good enough to go ahead with and if so, can I use it as the 'practice' too.
If you're wondering why I am mentioning two different tutors, it's because I am interested in what areas both cover so I've decided to find a title/topic I am interested in and see which area they think it fits in best with. Probably the best way to do it.

CLIENT - Initial Research
Since we have to do a television advertisement, I thought I would do some research on the Internet to start off with. Wikipedia is a excellent resource, so I started off there. There is a lot of information on the topic on there so I've narrowed my research down to:
- What a television advertisement is
- What types of television advertising exist
- The specifics of the type of existing television advertising
